Technical description
Modified Starch

Modified starches are functional starch derivatives developed to improve rheology, stabilization, binding and process performance in industrial applications. Produced through physical and chemical modification of natural starches, these products provide enhanced functionality compared to native starch. Depending on the modification type, they can deliver improved water solubility, viscosity control, film formation, suspension stability and fluid-loss reduction. These bio-based and renewable products provide cost-effective and environmentally responsible solutions while improving manufacturing efficiency and formulation performance.
Applications
- Oil & gas drilling fluid systems
